PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SENIOR LECTURER

Contribute to a dynamic academic department from as early a date as
possible.

All applicants must have a PhD in a relevant discipline. Candidates must have knowledge and experience in the fields of ichthyology and/or fisheries science; a strong research track record with publications in peer-reviewed journals; and a proven record of postgraduate supervision and, preferably, undergraduate teaching.

Candidates must indicate the level at which they are applying and their CV should reflect a commensurate level of achievement.

The appointee may be expected to serve as Head of Department and leadership qualities and an ability to work in teams are important. A proven ability to attract research funds and manage projects will be important considerations in making this appointment.
