The TOM Marie Curie Research Training Network is a consortium of teams from 15 research institutions all across Europe. The TOM network aims at highlighting the crucial contribution that foreign migrants make to the social and economic linkages between countries. Using an interdisciplinary and intersectorial approach it focuses on the enduring ties that migrants’ communities maintain with their home country, even as they deepen their integration in the host country. It also highlights the role of migrants’ networks in sustaining ties with the home country and fostering integration in the host country.
