Zonta Club International Community Scholarship

Job Description: Zonta Club of Wollongong will provide a female undergraduate student with $2000 towards the cost of their studies at the university of Wollongong .This scholarship aims to assist a first year female who may be experiencing financial difficulties.

Duration: THREE (3) YEARS
Year of Scholarship: 2010 – 2012
Year of Enrolment: First Year
Criteria:
Applicants for the Zonta Club of Wollongong Scholarship must meet the following criteria:
o Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in their first year at the
University of Wollongong/Wollongong Campus in 2010
o Applicants must achieve and maintain a credit average for duration of scholarship
o Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.
o Applicants must be a female from the Illawarra Region
Application Package:
Interested students will be required to provide the following information in support of their
Application:
o A completed Current Student Application Form from Student Central
Building 17 or download www.uow.edu.au/about/scholarships/currentforms/
o A brief cover letter and resume
o A photocopy of your HSC results and/or academic records from previous studies
o A one page outline of how the scholarship will assist you in your studies
o Proof of residency in the Illawarra Region
o One (1) additional copy of your entire Application Package
