Job Description :The Illawarra Mercury has been reporting the news to the people of the Illawarra region since the middle of the 19th century. The Mercury currently sponsors three editorial scholarships for students in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Creative Arts or Faculty of Commerce, providing work experience in the editorial department.
Number of Scholarships: One (1)
Value: $5000
Duration: One year
Year of Scholarship: 2010
Level of Enrolment: 2nd or 3rd Year
Criteria:
Applicants for the sponsored Scholarship must meet and address the following criteria:
oStudents must be enrolled full-time in 2010, in their 2nd or 3rd year studying:
-Bachelor of Arts – Communication Studies, Bachelor of Communications Media Studies, Bachelor of Communications & Media (Advertising & Marketing), Bachelor of Arts (Marketing) or any Media & Business related disciplines OR Bachelor of Commerce.
oStudents must be available for four (4) weeks work experience in Nov/Feb 2010. (3rd year students please note you must remain enrolled at UOW during the entire Work Experience period at the end of your degree)
oStudents must have a credit average.
oStudents must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
